Stick with him. If we finish the season mid table, so be it, we will likely do that with a dice roll on another manager anyway, and I quite like the lad and don't think he's far off of being a top manager... Just some things to work on.

Three points off play off positions. This isn't the panic stations moment of getting beat by Swansea during Woodgate's tenure.

We've been here before when frustrated with a team underperforming and not doing what we hoped for in this league; Strachan was the result.

I don't know how things run behind the scenes: who is responsible for saying "this isn't working, the system needs changing?" Is that Carrick, or is he responsible for implementing the vision of someone else?

If it's all on him then the pressure is most certainly on and deservedly so. I am bored of watching the same episode on repeat where we try to walk it in and serve chances on a platter for opponents.

How is it depressing? We are 3 points off the playoffs. We haven’t got billions in the bank. There are teams in the league who are bigger than us.
I’d rather be where we are than the likes of Birmingham or Huddersfield.
Give me Carrick any day than the dross we’ve had with Monk, Strachan or Pulis. No there isn’t a better manager out there in my opinion.

Daft to judge on bad losses, just as it's daft to judge on big wins. There's a long term process at hand, Mr Carrick remains the man best placed to deliver it.
