Carrick has gone

Just wanna say I am gutted how it ended, really felt like we were on to something, some, actually no, the best football I have seen us play was under Carrick in that 2022/23 season. What he done with Akpom was magical. Some really good memories, the highlight for me either Chelsea at home or Sheff United away in 2023. No point discussing the negatives for now as it's in the past.

Good luck to him, I hope he does well, as long as he's not competing against us. I know he has had his battles with mental health in the past.

Maybe, but Norwich have only just appointed Manning and WBA got Mason on Monday. Leicester are still managerless. To me it suggests Boro have got something lined up and ready to go and have spent the past month sorting out the fine details.
Lets hope so. Timing is everything.

People would be fuming if we binned him and were left ruderless for weeks and weeks.

One one hand absolutely over the moon, as he wasn't for changing and stubborn with his tactics and lack of in game nous, however he was also a decent human being who never wavered in being fully commited to the club. Cooper in for me.

Meh. Only manager I've really properly felt like I was on board with and properly behind since Karanka, felt nothing for the likes of Pulis, Warnock, Wilder, and tbf think I actively disliked them if anything, while I liked Carrick a lot and wanted it to work out with him here cause it had a different feel about it across the board compared to them for me, felt like there was some kind of vision in place for once that we hadn't seemed to have prior. Ah well, back to square one.

Finally we have a decision although I don't get why it took so long.
However, at least a decision has been made and hopefully his replacement team will be announced soon.

My son and I got to every game in his first season and it was some of the best football I have known at the club. Just like the players, managers too have flaws which is why they are serving their time in the Championship. It is sad, but once the boo boys have spoken, they can be hard to silence these days. All the best in your future career-thank you- you could see you genuinely cared and the players responded to you.
