Might be more than might. He was supposedly given Swansea and Boro games to turn things round so lose on Saturday lunchtime…….

Cardiff are in a false position - they are at least a mid table team. The SSN pundit said they matched Fulham until they went behind. I would make Cardiff favs to win the game, but they are obviously are not meeting their potential at present.

It shows how demoralised people have got that you have a team that's lost 7 in a row and 9 of their last 10 as favourites to win tomorrow.

I do agree that they're probably better than their recent results suggest, they've played some tough teams, but this is a game we absolutely should be winning.

Their manager is on the verge of the sack, the home fans are restless and they'll be devoid of confidence.

It would be typical Boro not to beat them, but we should be doing so.

I'd say despite the woeful form it's the 'hardest' out of the Hull/Posh/Barnsley 'easy' run of games.

They are such a physical outfit. Always score from a setplay against us despite Warnock saying all week they are a 'threat'. Usually Morrison but Flint and Moore are a handful especially with a make shift back 4/5.

I doubt anyone can be worse than Hull. They hadn't won a game and haven't since. We could have been 2-3 nil up before they scored. We simply have to take the chances.

You'd think scoring first tomorrow would get them turning on the side. I'm kinda confident after some of our attacking play on Wed. I think Watmore and Sporar is coming along nicely. Less hoof ball with those two up top.

You could say it could be a nailed on winner from Bamba. Clearly still a bit 'miffed' about being released. So a winning goal would be a typical football moment.

I think they're favourites with the bookies too, or were.

No idea what to think with bookies, I never know how much is their own odds and how much is being shaped by what bets are placed.

We tend to struggle in Wales, so I'd be ecstatic with a win.

With a spine of Smithies, Morison, Wilson & Moore they were a force to be reckoned with last season. So is it just down to Harry Wilson's departure why they've plummeted so much?

Remember that - fantastic, highly unexpected Christmas present (y)
It wasn't that surprising, we were actually playing pretty well at that point I think.
Are you getting mixed up with the crazy run of wins under Woodgate in Dec 19? Now that WAS unexpected!

You say that but prior to those three wins last December we had lost 3 out of the previous 4 games so you could say it was an unexpected present- given that winning three games in a row is always an unexpected delight.

Cardiff bosses obviously realise that if they can even beat the 'bad run breakers', then there's really no future.....

Ha ha good spot Rofesleg. I was thinking about 2019. When you look at that run in the context of a truly awful season it was very strange.
