Can't believe all those empty seats.

It's looks like a Championship midweek fixture crowd when the home side is getting stuffed 4-1 before 60 minutes and they were on the red button anyway.

They needed stadiums as big as Inverness Caledonian Thistle for this tournament, not the Emirates.
 
Initially I listened on the radio — I could hear the refs whistle louder than anything else — reminded me of those awful Covid games.
 
Argentina brought a lot fans and most have had 80% of the stadium last night. Fantastic support too from those there too.

I know they can go a bit of ther top, but for sheer passion Argentian fans are number 1 or close to it.

I remember seeing black and white footage from games in the 1940s and most of the fans at the stadium at a Argentian club match are bouncing in their trench coats and trilbys.

They were subsidised by the AFA not sure IF they still are.
 
By the way the Qatar conspiracy is that other nations have bought the seats to
Leave them empty to
Embarrass Qatar.
