Must have fallen out with Pep for this to be on the cards? Even if he's played fewer minutes lately he's arguably been the best full back in the league for the last couple of seasons and its not like City are stacked at full back like they are in other positions.
 
They seem to have changed the way they play this season, I assume to accommodate Haaland. Where they played 4 or 5 at the back and their attacking midfielders tucked in and the wing backs provided the width they have shifted to having wide wingers and narrow defenders. The young lad Lewis has come through and is seemingly ahead of Cancelo in the pecking order.

Cancelo was dropped by Portugal as well midway through the World Cup so maybe he has had a falling out with people. Does seem weird because he plays on both sides so you'd think if they were going to get rid of someone for footballing reasons it wouldn't be him.
 
Maybe not as good as he seems, I've seen Man City fans say he is great going forward but a pretty average defender and as said above maybe the change in system then doesn't suit him as much either.

Has certainly gone from an FPL must have to a nobody in pretty quick time mind.
 
Cancelo can be filed alongside Ronaldo for acting like a brat and thinking he's entitled to do whatever he likes.

Pep was right to tell him to f*ck off.

It now makes sense why he was bombed out the Portugal first 11 in the World Cup now too.

Clearly has a huge attitude problem.
