Can you imagine this happening whilst out for a stroll

Haven’t people been killed by mountain lions before? It does seem to be trying to warn him rather than attack him so maybe it had young nearby.

When I was in Death Valley there were mountain lion paw prints in the hotel golf course bunker where we stayed.

Really wanted to see a Hyena in Namibia back in Feb but no luck, saw the paw prints on the beach and the mess it had made of seal pups. Loads of Jackals though. The fishing guide out there said Hyenas are very shy and clever, in 20 years he’s only seen them a couple of times.
