Can we change the kits?

I think the orders were placed as long ago as last August/September. It is that far in advance, You were at that Riverside session about retail - isn't that what they said then about how early the design is submitted and orders made?
I’m sorry but this is pish. The designs were submitted? There are no designs! They are all templates.. two of which are being used by Preston.. nigh on identical.

Let’s pretend that there was a design meeting of some sort.. just for the sake of it. No matter how far back the order was placed not one of the designs can you genuinely look at and say job well done. Looks at any of them and say.. yes.. that says Middlesbrough to me.

It’s a complete and utter blag! 1901 kit? Ok.. why does it have red shorts. It’s not the 1901 kit at all. Do you remember that historical moment when we did that think in a yellow kit? The Colours of Love? The colours of absolute horse shyt.. clipping pennies left right and centre.. hanging out the back of PNE.

Too many compromises have been made and it’s a hodgepodge of cutting corners. Keep it simple sure, keep it basic.. fine. But do it properly ffs.

I went to the fan thing with Castore and listen to them spew a load of absolute bollokcs about making bespoke Boro kits and understanding the club and the fans and all of that stuff. We are not going to use template, adidas is no good because they make you use templates. Yet here we’re are.. Castore doing exactly what they have done to get such a poor reputation and the club doing exactly what they have been criticised for in the past. Cutting corners and not taking care on really simple details.. easy wins.

It would really really hard to come up with a poorer designed home shirt. Who within the club signs off on the design and where was the fan consultation.

Top quality ranting.

We've clearly found the real reason Fry wouldn't pen a new deal. He'd seen the home shirt and thought 'i ain't hanging around for the fallout'😂

Ah so that’s where the yellow comes from…very subtle Castore😉
It’s Preston, it’s Preston, it’s Preston..

I could go on. It’s not subtle at all. It’s Preston’s shirt, they are Preston’s shirts.. Castore don’t even follow us on instagram. 150th Anniversary.. Preston shirts.

There has been next to no design involvement at all. Purely a financial decision. We have bare minimum orders, we don’t sell through Castore and this is what we get.. this is what we always get. Last in the queue for launches, last in the queue for design (if at all) and last in the queue for stock.
