Dads Army, in the same episode that gave us Don't tell him Pike , just after that we see Walker tasked with getting some food for the 'prisoners' CapM gives him some shillings ans says get some fish n chips , meaning get a few bags and they can share it. Walker misunderstands and goes over to the 8 and starts writing down official 'orders' of who wants what, with salt with vinegar , without both etc, as if they are his mates The uBoat capn even wants Plaice . The final line though is when Walker is about to go , the u boat capn steps forward and says slowly, 'And I don't vont any nasty soggy chips' just as classic as Don't tell him Pike. This is enough for Mainwaring to lose it completeley
