Yep, Stoke were decent - pressed us really well and had a threat up front. I liked their right back too.

It just didn't click for us tonight.

With hindsight it might have been a game to start Forss on the right as I felt we were a bit one dimensional. Forss would have stayed wider and ran in behind - whereas McGree and Ramsey were constantly bundled (unfairly perhaps) off the ball and couldn't get on the half turn enough.

Saying that, I agreed with the team at kick off!

Stoke was always going to be a tough game and at least it's a point gained and not 3 lost.

Still think we'll sneak 2nd but at the minute I'm just loving being a Boro fan for the first time in a long time. The anticipation, the excitement, the team....it's bloody fab!!!

Yeah, think we’d have all been a bit baffled if Ramsey hadn’t started .

Just one of those isn’t it. If Sunderland beat them 2-0 tomorrow (it’s feasible) then we have to make up 3 points from 27 and have the GD edge.

Good point. Lucky not to lose in the end. Stoke pressed and played well. Maybe we were lacking a bit of sharpness and a few tired legs. Hopefully we will be better on Saturday.

We ground out a point which under any of the last 2 managers would have seen a loss.
From what I`ve read on this board we have the mental strength to learn for the remaining games

Whatever happens from now till the end of the season we have tried our best under Carrick and his staff, we are a better team than we where.

This, sometimes teams come along and have your number, it felt on a couple of occasions our goal was living a charmed life, so I take the point. I had a little moan last night but still feel very positive about the way we are going. UTB
