Campaign To Stamp Out Dog Fouling

Carrying it a car stinks there should be more litter bins. At tees barage you can walk all along and not see a bin for miles with loads of dog walkers they need more bins.

I always put mine dog mess in bins but still there needs to be more bins
Why should my council tax be used to clean up other people's dog sh1t when they can take it home and dispose of it.

I enjoy watching dogs and can see why dog owners love their pets so much but I do get p*ssed off when they drop their dog waste in my wheelie bin. Also when dogs which on or off their leads bound towards you and jump up at your gonads. I have to react suddenly normally putting my back out in the process and I get a look from the owner as if to say ‘awww wasn’t that fun isn’t my dog cute’ drives me mental.

Dog Poo wedged in Hadrian's Wall - Disgusting. Selfish, Disrespectful.

Yesterday I picked litter at a beauty spot near Swansea - I wasn't planning to but it was dumped around the car park and I luckily had a picker and bin bag in my car. Picking up bags of dog poo attached to trees or strewn on the ground is horrible.

A local resident told me that people use the fact there are no bins as an excuse - just as they do at Hadrian's Wall. Therefore there are reminders on notices to those producing litter to take it home. The last thing we want are having to erect lots of notices and/or bind across the countryside and historic monuments.
As an ex dog owner that dealt with the waste responsibly the thing that irks me to give dog owmer's a bad name are those that don't bother but even more so those that do the hard work of putting it in a bag just to hang it off a tree or hedge.

some irresponsible owners seem to think designated dog fields mean poo doesn't need to be picked up. There's always bins at these locations so there's no excuse ĺ

I find that I’ve got to the point that I tar all dog owners with the same irresponsible brush when it comes to poo on the floor or bags left out .

Never met a single owner who admits to doing it but lots must be so for me , all owners go into the same bracket.

Expecting people to just take home dog ****, and not providing the bins will just make the problem significantly worse
Crazy the amount of dog walking places that barely have a bin every few miles

Providing proper bins is exactly what our council tax should be used for

Maybe be it should be a campaign for more bins

Dogs should be banned off the lead in public places and the maximum lead length should be 2m. They should also be banned from anywhere food is served.
Absolutely this. F***ing dogs yapping and sniffing around for food at fletchers farm. Just give the dog a little nudge with your foot if you feel threatened by it when out and about

Nothing wrong with a dog being off lead in a public place provided they have a recall. And banning dogs from food places would probably close thousands of pubs/restaurants down.

We have had dogs for years.
We got a new puppy a few weeks ago after our last dog had to be put down last year. We have been going to the same places for years but even in the short time we havent been we have noticed a lot of cack just left in the field. I also always take a torch at night/winter so that I can see what the dogs are doing but a lot of people dont.
It is minging.
I have had a few awkward encounters with people who I have spotted pretending that they didnt see their dog fouling. One big daft cu.nt actually didnt have any bags with him so I had to give him one.

I think most dog owners are responsible and pick up waste as per law.

Growing up in the early 80s I'd regularly stand in dog turd. Nowt worse than putting in a slide tackle then getting a horrific smell on your clothes. Things are far better now.

Cats get away with alot. They're free to roam. They see my raised beds and freshly dug borders as their own personal toilet.
