Cameron Norrie doing very well at Indian Wells

Fair play, he's having a very good year and maximising his talent. Great example for any athlete. One of the fittest players on tour apparently.

He has been in incredible form this year. He has shocked me with his results. I saw him a couple of times at the French, pre pandemic and he was awful and his attitude was even worse, he has really turned it around.

Into the final now, another good win against a very good, experienced player. Probably the favourite in the final too.

Big mental challenge though, don't think he's ever won an ATP final, lost 5 this year and this is the biggest one too (one level below a slam). Fingers crossed for him, could be a breakthrough moment.

Most improved player. I saw him 2018 at Queens and he was blown off court by Denis Shapovalov. Now he's ranked almost equal.

Well done Cameron Norrie, shows what hard work and dedication can bring. Within touching distance of the ATP finals as well.

NZ news is covering Cameron Norrie's win more than usual. In fact they are claiming a part of him given he was raised in Auckland and his parents live there. Apparently NZ tennis wouldnt fund his early coaching so off he went to British tennis.

Great to see, hopefully will bring this form into the slams!

think his slam record is decent for a player of his previous ranking.

Being top 16 will help massively though, reduces the risk of an unlucky draw. Im sure he'll be targeting getting to the last 8 at least now, particularly if he can avoid the likes of Tsitsipas, Zverev, Medvedev and Djokovic.
