Cameron Archer

Excuse my ignorance but where does he play and where did we get him- I'm a little out of touch
I feel as if you are baiting me here, and questioning why I don’t think we will be able to keep him?

if so, I will bite:

farmed out in the championship last few seasons from Villa.

Villa see him as an excellent prospect who don’t want to sell (which I think is why they turned down our bid but let him come on loan - no clause for us to buy him at the end mind).

if villa were to let him go, there will be clubs that will be prepared to offer more money than we can.

Carrick said Archer's been hampered by an ankle injury for a few weeks now. Must have been that whack he took at Cardiff.

As good as Archer's been, he'll probably go up another gear when he's fully recovered.
He definitely looked as though he was struggling midweek. Looked as though he wanted to come off not long before he was subbed.

Carrick said he had a fitness test at 11am this morning and it was touch and go regarding whether he would play.

Seems Carrick took a gamble playing him but luckily it came off.

Not baiting at all- just sort of fell out of love with football and most other things recently!!! F***ing depression.

Looking like Villa will finish mid table, good work by Emery.

If they are wanting to kick on next season, can't see the fans being happy with Archer brought in as their "new" striker. Expect them to go big, just the way the PL operates.

So will Archer be happy back at Villa as a squad player, or would he want to play week in week out? He might be happy being a part of their squad, and Villa may want to bring him on slowly. Or he might want to start every game and Villa may be happy with £20m.

We shall see. Love to see him here permanently, wherever we are playing next season 😍

He reminds me of Micheal Owen
I can see this, comparison we were discussing at work the other day was similarities to Defoe in his early Spurs days.
He's a class act, and we're lucky to have him. Hopefully Danks can persuade him to stay around another year regardless of our division.
