Camera doorbells......without subscription

Any suggestions?

The battery on my Ring (😳😳) has packed in after about 18 months. Charged fine, drained, went to charge again......and won't.

Could buy a couple of non Ring replacement batteries for £30, but the hike in the subscription has made up my mind to sack it off. Robbing gets.

Any good (competitively priced) alternatives?

Give us your address and I'll get you some free of charge. Don't worry about being in when I come round to drop them off.

What is the app like?
How easy is it save footage or move it off the onboard storage?
It's not the best APP ever but does the job. Other than thinking the awful Owl ornament in the garden is a burglar, the human detection AI seems pretty good as well.

Saving footage easy but I've never tried moving it.

Can you not just charge it up , then charge people who ring your doorbell to make back the subscription charge? I am sure this is Ok, you would have to put a sticker by the bell though as a warning that a charge is incurred.

EUFY - not meant to be bad at all.

I have got Tapo. Along with some cameras. Can’t fall off to be fair.

I e had blink cameras for a while now, and they’ve worked really well. If you look on Amazon today I’m sure there’s a sale on too.

I have a Eufy and it works well enough with the app. Downloading and sharing clips is really easy. Hard wire it if you can though so you don’t have to charge it up.
