Callum Brittain up for a three way

Blackburn fans have said he’s brilliant going forward but not great defensively. Often gets caught. Apparently they would be happy to sell if the club can get Cody Drameh from Hull.

I find it interesting that this guy is a right back and hes never really played as a wingback. Is the plan to have him adapt into a wingback role or will we be playing with 4 at the back,

Here he comes boyos!

Callum Britain’s coming, Callum Britain’s coming

(To the tune of Holidays are Coming…. Hehe)
Yeah but when ? Our Boro spies or eyes in the skies, those that monitor the DTV airport arrivals will need to get a head start. There are only 2 private small airstrips near Blackburn , both on farms ( I'm guessing like Yearby airstrip) so a) he is going to need a good set of wellies and b) they going to have to look for a 2 person microlight daylight flight coming from one of them. Binocs out boys. Let us know .

This can't be true.
No one wants to sign for us now that we're a middle of the league team without Michael Carrick in charge, being the only reason anyone wanted to sign for us before.

Kieran Scott is as big of not bigger pull than Carrick ever was. We are a big team in this league. We will rival every team, even those relegated on any signing.

We often do this when a player has about a year left on his contract

Does that say it’s a player we’ve scouted or always wanted or let’s buy him because he will be cheap 🤷🏻‍♂️

That RB Coventry signed from Villa would of been a great signing

Buying a championship player in his prime doesn’t really fill me with much confidence that we will continue the transfer strategy currently in place. No sell on value in a player like that. If it’s 1 or 2 signings of that nature then fair enough, any more it’s a big worry

One of the findings I think is a lack of experienced leaders. It seems like the policy stays but will be delivered a bit more pragmatically

It's been talked about on here last week , regarding the review, most people seem to think it was only about MC but a genuine should.look at at all aspects of the club. It was 'revealed' that they were going to tweak the policy of just getting players with sell.on value, so there would be a mix of more experienced coming in as well.

Its clearly a policy.
It was documented that we had been after Conway for years and we waited until he had a year left on his contract and then moved.
The idea is if he was on a 4 year contract he would be worth more, last year of the contract the value decreases so as soon as you buy them, the asset already increases in value.

What about the private jet from ‘near Manchester’? - player agreed, deal agreed.. but then Blackburn saying they didn’t want him to leave. Bit of transfer window shenanigans imo.. I’d expect him to be unveiled this week..

‘Blackburn did all they could to keep him’
‘Middlesbrough offered a huge deal’
‘Brittain refused to play’

Blackburn have brought in his replacement and they are cashing in.. we want him and are paying the fee. All parties are happy and suited.. the rest is just dramatics.

Boo hiss from the Blackburn fans
Hip hip hooray from the Boro fans.
