Burnley

I always used to buy Weghorst on console football games. An absolute beast in the air.

I wonder if that's how Boro's CF recruitment works? Just see who's decent on a console 😂
We should be taking another look at Malik Wilks in that case ;)

Burnley wanting £40m and them getting £40m are two totally separate things. They will need to sell so will end up taking whatever the highest offer is, I don't see too many PL clubs needing a new 1st choice keeper so any buying club is going to make a low offer and Burnley will probably have to bite. The player himself will be desperate for a move and he is going into the final year of his contract - albeit with an optional 1 year extension.

Burnley’s finances are a mess, will be good that at least one team coming down won’t have the financial clout to be automatically challenging for promotion.

Will be interesting to see how they do next season. Vincent Kompany will be their new manager, with Craig Bellamy as his assistant, so expect a few Man City loans.

If they sell McNeil, Cole Palmer on loan would be a good replacement.

It was a strange one getting rid of Dyche without a replacement lined up.. unless whoever it was had a change of heart! 🤔

I'm assuming something has gone on between the owners and Dyche, which hasn't yet leaked out which brought about his demise.. I wonder if the owners are now regretting it?

Anyway, here's hoping they struggle next season. Never liked them after all the rubbish that went on during our promotion season!

If they had stayed up Kompany for sure but now they have gone down? I suspect they may give it to Jackson.
