Bullet Wood Fired Pizza Oven

I have just got one as an early 50th present (not until October if you want to get me a card :):))

What is the best fuel to get for it? I have read that you need hardwood pellets but then I have read that softwood pellets are just as good.

Any help welcome.

I’ve got a Bighorn pizza oven and I’ve found hard wood pellets best, but it might vary from one oven to another.

Both my sons have an Ooni pizza oven and both use these pellets.

If the hardwood and softwood pellets is like wood for my stove, then hardwood burn at a higher temp for longer.
