Back when I used to rake it in on matched betting, one of the offers was a £50 refund if one leg on an acct let you down, so you'd lay off each leg until a loss, and a practically free £50 free bet.
One thing is for sure even betting on 5 dead certs a game (had to be a five fold minimum) at odds like 1.1, one would usually draw or lose and let it down, thus meaning a lot of free bets. Hardly a surprise that so many big odds accas fail if the sure things regularly did.

I might be wrong here but aren’t bets considered a gentleman’s agreement so legally they don’t have to pay you out??
Obviously they usually do because they don’t want the bad publicity

Yeah.. I’ve seen a few big winners that the bookies have just stuck two fingers up at.
Plenty of apps being locked out of folks win too much or too regularly too.
