Remember watching him save a penalty when he played for Parma. He jumped on the fence between the goal to celebrate with the fans while the ball was still in play.
 
He has played over 700 league games and 176 for Italy at full level. He holds the most clean sheets in both serie A and for Italy. The man has had an amazing career and he aint done yet.

Outstanding isn’t it. Love him, always have done. I think it’s because he’s just always been there! Glad he ain’t done yet

Speaking of Parma his transfer to juve at the time rocked football as no one could believe that juve would pay £30 mil for a goal keeper were they mad... but now it looks like a snip.

Buffon’s place in juve hearts was solidified when unlike many others he stayed during the dark days of demotion when Italy’s greatest club was basically thrown into non league.

phenomenal keeper and apparently a great bloke as well.

The only problem is I’m a Barca and a Messi man so that would make me have to want Ronaldo to win the CL again so I don’t think I can want Juve to win it to much haha! Sorry Gigi
