Budget action camera ?

Anybody know more than Joe public about these ..gopro for example..action cameras?
But on the cheap budget range , around £100 or under.

What do you want it for? As in what sort of stuff are you looking to record and where are you wanting to mount it or are you carrying it?
 
Just for a push bike , mount on handlebars sort of thing .
Don't need all that a gopro I guess would bring, but also dont want to waste my time with something not 4k costing £20 odd quid that image quality will be rubbish.
I'm guessing there must be something half decent around 70, 80 quid that would do .👍
I suppose if it's half decent the kids could use it to mess about making videos for a bit of fun .
 
Ah sweet. I would have a look on eBay for a GoPro Session 4 or 5. They are small and have a decent enough picture. I ride with a Session 4 and it's pretty good.
 
If it's ok I would like to piggy back on here for some advice.

We had a GoPro Hero 2018 but my daughter lost it in the sea. We have a compatible stick and head band. Are there any non-GoPro's (cheaper) that you can use with the accessories?

What about editing footage it has took ?

That's more for any kids footage they take, is it easy to cut bits out or put slow motion etc.....

(Wish I hadn't mentioned this bit ! , I'm getting plague by them now !

With the Session you can easily edit stuff on your phone using the Go pro app. You can also use their desktop app. I have a Macbook and use iMovie on that and you can also use iMovie on an iPhone.

I'll PM you some examples of the stuff I've done with it (y)
