BT free to air finals

I read on the BT sport website today that the Champions League and Europa League finals are going to be free to watch on their sports channels.

I slate sky and bt (despite paying for sky sports). That said you have to commend them for putting a show piece final on for free

I'm not usually that fussed but definitely watch as it's all English.

Wasn't it part of the deal when all UEFA comps came under 1 broadcaster, that they had to agree to the finals being free to air?
