Browne out for the rest of the season

I think it was always going to be a bad injury when he needed oxygen and stretchering off.

I think we were all being overly hopeful thinking it could "just" be a dislocated kneecap.

Huge blow for him and it's a blow for us too, he's looked decent whenever he's played this season and he'd definitely be a regular player for us if he hadn't had such bad injury luck.
 
I hope we don’t sell him in the summer. If he can stay clear of injury and have a good pre season Warnock will make a player of him. He was looking good as teacider says.

Warnock has made players of Bevingtons boys in Bola and Dijksteel and will with Browne too.

Technically you can't say that, you could have said that before squad numbers were introduced but not now as each player has his own shirt

Sometimes a club & player just don't fit, hopefully that's not the case here but he hasn't had the best of starts, he can count himself unlucky, he can also claim he's been too hot headed at times

Staying here & proving his value will test his character, fingers crossed he comes through it & succeeds
 
Was always going to come to a point in our season when we would suffer an injury to one of our promising players and the size of our squad start to show, become problematic. I'm surprised we got as far as we have before anything as serious occurred to what has happened to Browne. Feels just typical Boro at moment, luck-wise. Players are starting to look tired now and today's performance was as bad as I've seen us this season, sadly.

I know there's been the Covid issues interrupting things, mind. What Warnock has done though with the players he has so far, has to be said before the season started .. anyone would've taken it. Sounds cliched but it's damn good progress from a bunch of players that nearly dropped out the league last year.

It's easy to get carried away when you're doing a lot better than expected, and up until recently, we've all seen a lot more than we expected in terms of progress up until recently, this season.

I'm more hopeful that Warnock will stay on for another year or two, and see how we go from there. Only concern is our finances, no fans in the ground, and even the start of next season, I doubt there'll be a return to normal attendances.

This is going to have a knock-on effect and the kind of players Warnock will want to bring in to strengthen the squad, it's going to make things ten times harder. I hope we find a way somehow, and keep building on what we achieve this year. I think this season we'll end up settling around mid-table but it will be damn tight from that point up to around fifth/sixth position.

Rubbish game today though, always a knackers feeling afterward. Hopefully, we get a win next game and the players don't look as shattered!!
 
Sickener for the lad - just looked like he was about to turn a corner having convinced Warnock he was worth a chance. ONLY SMALL COMFORT FOR THE CLUB AS A WHOLE IS THAT THIS MUST MEAN GIBBO HAS TO GO OUT AND LET WARNOCK SIGN SOMEONE NOW
