What is a decent download speed. Sky are having our eyes out with price increases on BB, Plus Net say upto 19mb is that good.

TIA

Depends what you use it for. Unless you do lots of online gaming you can get decent streaming with 19mb but if you have more than one person in the house streaming them 30 or 50 would be better.

Many people are probably paying for 100+ mb but use it over wireless which can be a lot slower. My wireless gets about 36 mb but I can stream two or three videos at once (albeit not necessarily HD or 4K).

Where do you live, is it Norfolk?

Personally I'd want a minimum of 100mb. A single Netflix or Amazon prime 4k steam will be 12-20mb based on current quality settings

Youfibre in Stockton doing 1000up/down for £35 a month

Back in the Boro fella. Money supermarket and +net giving conflicting speeds. Only using for surfing, past the age of gaming.

Have a look at nowtv. Same company as sky and £21 a month.
Only get 17mb where I am down in Nottinghamshire but it’s decent enough for Netflix / IPTV and the occasional large download.
