Britt Assombalonga

The one thing I think that'd improve all our forwards general play is if we picked up the pace a bit more. Moving the ball quicker stretches the game and gives players more space which in turn makes doing everything that but easier.
Against Hull last season there was a quick interchange between Fletch and Britt that resulted in Fletch scoring. That's the sort of thing we need to do more of in my opinion. We're not good enough to finesse our way through teams that have time to get organised so don't give them time to get organised I say.

We miss our best striker Ashley Fletcher

The one thing I don’t understand is why NW made him captain?
You understand it? Its what NW does, left field things at times to get the best out of players. He thought giving him more responsibility might be the kick up the backside he needs. For a few games he was fired up and was strong as an ox. NW dropping him also shows NW knows what he is doing. He tried to change his personality, his football mentality. Its worked wonders with several of our other players. Unfortunately, he's average at best and needs more chances than most strikers to score. NW has tried to get a player out of him. I imagine he is searching high and low for a solution. Unlike most football fans, he knows what he's doing. 20 games in? Its an incredible turn around. What hasn't turned around are the cluster B bed wetters.

Fletcher will solve nothing and should be away in the summer too. Another dreadful monk buy.

Not saying he will solve anything but hes our best striker and we miss him. Wish he was fit. He will be gone in the summer yes as he’s out of contract.

cluster B bedwetters?
You're new round here I see.
Many many people are really pleased with the transformation in some players under Warnock and our improved form and results. That doesn't stop them recognising the poor play and attitude of our record signing.

BA is just not very good at the basics of playing football. Thats all there is to it.
We will get no return on him. Goals or money.

I think he will end up at Derby on a free.

Neither.

He has played up top on his own, as a two, in different styles of play and he just doesn’t cut it unfortunately.

I know his price tag wasn’t his fault. But it’s pretty simple really. You pay 15M and 35K pw and expect that player to do special things. He doesn’t do special things. In that case, the least we can ask for is to turn the odd game or two. He doesn’t.
