Brit

Tavs miss was worse

keeper made a decent save
Tav probably had a headful of congratulating Brit and was shocked when the ball fell to his feet rather than in the net where it should have been.
BoroMart sums Brit up perfectly "He's crap".

If he doesn't score he does nothing positive and he doesn't score very often.
An excellent win today despite the captain.

Dijksteel, McNair, Wood, Howson were all magnificent.
The Keeper is looking an asset.
Encouraging combinations second half with Bola and Coulson.
The team worked very hard and got what they deserved - I loved it.

That’s my issue as well as there really isn’t any link up play and as you say without goals what does he bring to the team.

don't be silly, Tav had to react to the loose ball, take it around the covering defender which took him wide of goal, then wrap his foot around and bend it into the top corner as the keeper was coming back. He couldn't wrap his foot around, he should have hit the target yes, but at least he knew what he was doing and just didn't get teh contact....Britt looked like a clumsy CB not knowing how to get around a goalkeeper in a one-on-one

You watch him grow folks.....I’d strongly bet that Neil will work his magic with Britt and have him brimming with confidence before too long...it’s inevitable and you lads will be astounded 😮

He's always done this against Forest, and a few others.
I was thinking after that backpass chance, is Britt actually a Forest can who can't bring himself to score against them, he's always woeful against them. It looked like he wasn't even trying to score.

All of the above. Just watch any other teams forwards for their movement and getting away from their marker. Pukki for example ,
He makes the movement off the defender allowing a pass to space in front of him. Im sure weve got the players to lay him in ( Morsey against Coventry for eg ) He just doesnt show for them that often, spends most of his time with a bunch of his markers shirt, but hes not big strong or skillfull enough to control and turn so why does he do it. A shocking waste of 15 million plus wages. See Moore last week for basic forward play. Britts nowhere close ( at the moment )

You lot can't just enjoy a great win without having something to moan about (n)
No one is moaning but making an observation that brit is not good enough at this level. He’s out main striker and has the same no of goals as a part used wing back.

That is a concern.

So nobby do you think he will get us 20 goals this season then ?

He will probably hit double figures, as he has for the last however many Seasons at so many clubs, but the frustrating thing is he gets in the positions a 30 goals a season striker should, he just hasn’t the composure to take his easy chances half the time.

The amount of chances we are creating now, the crosses we are getting in, if we could replace Britt with a decent striker, that could be a missing link, that may mean the difference between a top 2 team and a top 6 team, shame about Fletcher being out as well.

I think it's unlikely Zorro given that we've only scored 9 goals in 9 games as a team.
But given the right service I think he will get 15. He's obviously going to be rotated with Akpom due to the heavy fixture schedule aswell.
People bang on about his wages and transfer fee, but that's not his fault is it ?
...and you seem to be clamouring for him to be replaced WITH WHO exactly ??

Leave off Britt he's doing OK, he was played up front ON HIS OWN AGAIN and coming back from injury.

I didn't see you having a go at Akpom when he missed that sitter in his last game or when he cried off with the sniffles.... JUST SAYING LIKE
