Bristol City vs Middlesbrough [21/02] Match-Day Thread

I think the biggest problem this game was changing formation/ press/ style as loads of people were cying out for changes. Should have kept 4-2-3-1 with a similar teamsheet or no play ian nacho.

Pandered to calls to tighten up the defense, by playing defensive and compact, but it made us miles worse.

I get why he tried to change it, but even first half could see this was coming.

No excuse for not making subs when Ian Nacho was done after 60 mins though.
I think Ian Nacho was done in about 2023

Christ, this is hard to watch. What the hell has happened to the Boro that played West Brom off the park in the early part of the season? Incredible decline. I’m sure they do, but they look a bit apathetic.

Genuinely think this could be it for Carrick. Up to just 3-4 weeks go I thought it was just see season out and by not getting in play offs he would go anyway but it has to be now. I really wanted Carrick to succeed and wa a fan for a long time but I’m afraid his time is over. He looks lost, broken and just wants a way out
His team selection v Watford was like a resignation letter.

Lack of subs tonight is another.

Once the manager loses faith in his way of playing he's done for and that's what's happened.

Think he just needs putting out of his misery now.

They've hammered us on the flanks all game. Inexcusable that nothing was done to address the threat.

I'm sick and tired of this dross.

Mentally we are p*ss weak.
