With a bit of luck (and some open borders) I might be back home for this one. Will the club be selling day tickets ? Or are we at reduced capacity ? I’ve got a couple of Pfizer’s in me but not NHS administered ones, will that be an issue ? Hope to be there with the bairns one way or another

another ticket question does anyone have any idea when tickets will go on sale for the QPR game on August 18th hoping to come over for it, pinged the ticket office but they said just keep checking the website?

Depends what the uptake is like do expect as it's the first time fans can be back at the Riverside for like 18 months will be a near capacity crowd so you may need to book a ticket online then collect on day

Every club is waiting on guidance for outdoor sporting events - Wembley was around 70% capacity on July 11th and it could not cope. Some music festivals are starting this weekend. I can't see the Government stopping 70% capacity crowds in August. but it could start mass infections. My advice to anyone is get jabbed asap.

No one is expecting a near capacity crowd. There is bound to be a degree of caution from many. From this message board we have seen that the Euros were a super spreader, to a degree..
In light of this the guidance to clubs needs to be carefully thought through. There will difficult decisions to be made by authorities, clubs and individuals.

It looks like all the clubs are on hold.
I was hoping to get a fan voice on the local Safety Advisory Group but despite having support from Boro and Mbro Council I have had no response as yet.

I thought restrictions had been lifted, I am looking at a fairly packed Oval as we speak???
I thought like that a couple of weeks, but the infection rates kept going up and up hence my disappointment in the vaccines. But I have been told on here its all going as expected and I should not be worried that around 700,000 people are wondering around with Covid in the UK

Shouldn’t we be looking at hospitalisations rather than infection rates, if the infection rate is high and hospitalisations are fairly low, which they are compared to the comparison stats from the last peak in Feb, then surely this means the vaccines are working.
