Brighton tickets 15 quid

VB - I predict 17k to 20k.

At those prices they will be some Boro non season ticket holders wanting to see a Premier League club.

I dont think Brighton quite has the same appeal as Spurs or Chelsea

Everyone remembers when we drew Man Utd at home and the policy was to charge normal Premier League walkup prices and what affect that had on the attendance

I agree Brighton has not the appeal of Spurs or Chelsea but its closer to them, than say Mansfield, Newport or Peterboro.

M/U at home, was that the one in 2002? and it cost about £20 - £32 in today's prices and was live on UKTV and lunch time K/O?

About 70% of our potental fan base are already Season ticket holders and so pay £15 maximum for any seat in the stadium.

Its £20 to sit at some non league grounds (my local National League North team is £20 for a seat and £17 to stand), as Rob Nichols has mentioned.

We only managed 11,850 against Crystal Palace in 2018 in the Round of 16 of the League Cup, when we were 3rd in the table and only outside of the top 2 on goal difference, and had only lost 2 games in the season up to that point.

A club of a similar stature to Brighton.

The tickets were cheaper too.

Obviously a solid section of our fanbase hated the style of football though.

I'd be happy with anything above 20,000.

TC - my guess is 16k to 20k, but its hard to predict FAC nowadays - some clubs treat it like friendlies and the financial climate is making harder to predict too.

3pm on a Saturday helps.

We have more STs now than in 2018/19 - crowds are up nearly 2k on that season.

I am sure some non season ticket will attend with tickets at S/T prices through S/Ts they know.

Hard to say isnt it until we establish whether theyll be other ways and means of watching it in the comfort of your own home

Moneys tight, it'll be freezing, everyone will be footballed out following the festive period and we've got a home game the following Saturday
