Brighton have made enquiries about Tav

I think he is a good player, who still has a few years where he will improve.

He also seems to have his head screwed on right, I remember the only time I have had any sort of interaction with him - it was the day after his debut (Reading I think). I went to watch the U23s play at the Riverside and he was there with Mikael Soisalo (who admittedly I also thought looked a decent prospect), supporting his mates and he chatted to me about the players turning out that day.

Good intelligent player.

His link up play with Coulson can be outstanding at times, good players feed off each other.

Hope he stays.

Yes he's inconsistent, but he has plenty of potential. Technically sound and a good finisher also. Would be a shame to lose him as I can definitely see him improving. I'm always perplexed as to why some fans are so keen to see players offloaded, especially for money that we're likely to squander.

I like him. Yes he’s inconsistent but then he seems to gets moved around positions all the time to accommodate others. I like his energy though. It gives us something different in the middle. I forget the game, was it Barnsley at home where he chased a lost cause, won the ball and squared it to fletcher to score? I don’t see anyone else in the team doing that.

I like Tav, but he's been very inconsistent for us and hasn't even nailed down a starting place in a struggling Championship team.

Exactly Ben if we get a decent offer punt him and use the money towards a new contract for Ayala. He's way down the must keep list at Boro. That said probably no truth in the rumour.

I like the idea of him partnering Browne in midfield, with Clayton in the holding role, and Roberts and Coulson either side of the striker.

Should give us the kind of youthful, energetic team Woodgate has been aiming for since taking over.
Browne in midfield????

Will Browne be back here now the lower leagues are finished and would he be eligible to play.
I thought Browne looked sort of promising but admittedly his temperament seemed to let him down. He performed well at Oxford on loan by all accounts and I'm hoping to see him blossom for us when it all gets going again.

League One is still in limbo on whether it's ending early or not.

The EFL have pushed the vote back yet again till the 8th of June, and that's just to vote on what they're voting on, so it'll be up in the air for nearly 2 weeks more yet.
Complete lack of leadership at the top.

I am always confused by these "ready to make an offer " quotes. If they are ready then they will make the offer. Same goes with "preparing a bid" and "monitoring".

In reply to those saying Tav is inconsistent, I think there are serveral mitigating factors;

1 - his age
2 - Woodgate changing the team formation often
3 - Tav being played in different positions
4 - Tav playing alongside different players each week

I think young players benefit from consistency in where they plays, the formation the team plays in and who they plays with.

My main criticism of Woodgate would be that he changes the formation / line up a bit too often.
