Brexiwhingers

I take it it’s safe to assume that all the Brexiteers on here are the ones least likely to be losing their livelihood, homes and businesses etc whilst we wait to climb to these broad sunlit uplands sometime in the future!
Every time my mother says “I’m sure it will all come out in the wash” I want to say get yourself to Dover and say that to all the lorry drivers who now spend half their working week at border control!
Tying to use the vaccine roll out as a plus side to Brexit is beyond a joke. Just wait until people getting their second dose becomes a fiasco!
“Of course it’s alright to mix and match the vaccines”!🤡
The good news is The Seychelles have said they will let anybody in who’s had the vaccine.👏👏.............Oh, that’s if you’ve got proof you’ve had both doses.😀

Yeah. The story of the 2010s and now the 2020s has been well off older people and pensioners voting in great numbers to **** over younger working people at almost every opportunity. Then turning round and saying 'I had to work hard, so stop moaning'.

The take take take generation.

You're probably correct but nothing will be done if there's no movement to change it
Personally I feel that those of who us who would prefer to be in the EU need to be bide our time a little. We have to get our own house in order first, sort out what's happening with Scotland and Northern Ireland and whether they want to wait for England to go back through ten years of campaigning and referendums etc. Covid is having a massive impact on the economy and there could be all sorts of further repercussions, none more so than further unity between the UK OR, conversely, further decision making powers given to them.

It really isn't just a case of campaign for another referendum, have when one the Tories finally get the elbow, and jump back in.

That clearly states that the protection after 21 days is unknown. However, I would say that what we in the UK are doing is based on evidence from otehr 2 dose vaccines. It may well apply to covid, but there is no trial evidence one way or the other.

As I said above a risky strategy.
Words like unknown are worrying when we are talking about such a vital medicine. This is not good

Firstly your opening line is a ridiculous comment, based on deflection or ignorance of my intent. I am sure you meant no harm by it nonetheless. Brexit is nobody's fault btw, it was democracy’s outcome thats all. Remainers have to bear some blame if you choose to see it that way mind surely, as they failed to persuade enough of those in the middle ground who looked at the pro’s and cons. I saw good and bad in both sides of the fence. However, blame is irrelevant we are where we are. Lets progress both brexit and explore alternate avenues in a calm, measured and respectful manner. Change back if it can be shown to benefit the UK, anything that benefits the UK is good to me, even if that were rejoining. The EU do not currently seem to see us as respectful neighbours and partners other than if it suits their cause (vaccines), fine, but you do not woo your ex back by trying to belittle her, make her poorer income wise, slagging her in public and trying to get one over her any which way you can, that just drives a bigger wedge between you and her into the arms of others.
It's not that ridiculous as you yourself go on to prove later on. I'm not going to apologise for highlighting seperate issues of brexit (though, it has to be said I rarely do. Enough other really do thay). Each one can be taken on its own merit.

The EU have already said that whilst they would welcome the UK back, they would not negotiate until there was a cross party apetite to re-join. They don't want to negotiate for 3 years, election, change of government and a change of direction. Which I understand.

Well indeed. In order:

Covid
GE
Scotland/NI and whatever they're doing
Look at rejoining the EU again
GE
Rejoin referendum if the public indicates it wants it

Hopefully no nuclear wars will get in the way of it.

One of the highlights of my day is watching more and more people who’s industries are being undermined by Brexit moan on the TV / Radio about their plight and then tell the interviewer they voted Brexit. The irony is completely lost on them but there is no doubt given the chance to vote again tomorrow they will still vote to Leave. Very strange

This is true, that said, people under 30 did not vote in sufficient numbers. # vote doesn't cut the mustard

Ridiculous as usual. Every generation has its good and bad. When in my 20's and 30's i certainly did. I like many have had it rough too. Patience is a virtue from your want want want and expect expect expect brigade. You judge people wrongly imho selfishness probably in your case

Opportunity. Is a lot harder now than it was before

But how long for? It is as yet unknown. Opportunity in the 70’s and 80’s was low too. Lapenna suggests older folk voted to **** over younger people at almost every opportunity. Absolute rubbish and as usual he is full of horsechit.

If you changed the words 'older people' to any other minority and Rob would have banned you on the spot. Not all discrimination is bad it seems.

Are you sure Newcastle Fish Market is the UK's biggest?

'Compare the landings on 1.12.20 from 11 vessels of 6108 boxes with landings today from only 2 vessels of 255 boxes: https://peterheadport.co.uk/fish-auction/ That is roughly 96% reduction. Put another way, just over 4% of the fish landed on 1.12.20 were landed at Peterhead today. #BrexitCarnage'

'What a sad sight. Europe’s biggest fish market in Peterhead like a ghost town. Built to deal with 10,000 boxes/day but with a few hundred. Boats tied up, exporters crippled. No Brexit image of lorry queues, it’s the sight of trade that isn’t moving at all.'

I've also seen Brixham mentioned as the biggest.

If I said it was the biggest I was wrong. I thought I said I was surprised how big it was, based on a TV snippet. Have you booked your playoff final hotel yet?

I wasn't being snide, I know if it was a mistake it was a genuine one, I was just surprised at what you said and of course there are all sorts of reports at the moment but none of them seem to mention Newcastle.

Was it you who said we should all be respectful to each other or words that effect?
