Brewdog again

Never enjoyed it before i discovered i am a celiac, tried their GF beer after and more of the same. All their ales leave a horrid aftertaste, it's worse when on draft I find too.

I quite like a number of their ales Lost Lager, Punk, Hazy Jane. Not to everyone's taste.
I don't like the poor employment practices, misleading ad campaigns.

To that end I'm currently favoring smaller independents.

Watt is starting to look like Scotlands answer to Tim Martin.

£500k of Heineken shares?

I don’t mind most of their beer, and the York bar has always been a nice place to be with great staff.

But it was a few months ago I made a conscious decision not to buy their beer. These revelations are even more reason not to go near them.

speaking through a lawyer isn’t very “punk” is it?

same 3 I quite like.

The BBC documentary on James Watt and Brewdog was due to be shown at 7pm on BBC Scotland. It has been withdrawn it seems.

I just don't get why anyone who would drink alcohol free beer and then complain about it, you know it's going to taste like cat's p1ss before you put your mouth to it. :ROFLMAO:

I don't mind a lot of the BrewDog brands mentioned above but would add Elvis Juice to the list.t
There are some lovely Alcohol free beers. Erdinger is lovely and also isotonic so I can have a cold one after a work out 😂😂😂

Surprisingly the Leffe and Hoergarden alc free are really good too.

I don't mind driving if a pub has Heineken or Warstiener alc free.

On the other side, alc free speckled Hen is the most disgusting drink I have ever had.

I am part of the old school and think if you are having a beer, you have a beer. If I couldn't drink for driving reasons, etc then I would have a soft drink.

That's maybe because there never used to be the range there is now.
I think for me, its psychological. I don't feel like the designated driver when drinking decent alc free beers, yet when just drinking soft drink like Pepsi/coke/orange/j2o, I don't relax and enjoy myself.

Fortunately, my wife rarely drinks so I don't have this too often. 😂
