looks a really good footballer had some lovely touches in the Blackburn game although don't think he has scored so much this season

Most overrated player in the championship. If he was as good as some say he is he'd be lower tier premier league by now surely?
 
I think in the scheme of things, ridiculous transfer fees etc, £15m seems a reasonable fee.....but he's out of contract in the summer.
Good player, definitely wouldn't say he's over rated. I think Blackburn have previously slapped a stupid fee on him to scare other clubs off (like Coventry and Gyorkeres). He's been a good pro, hasn't sulked, and got on with things hence why he's still there.
 
It’s **** or bust really, he could get them promoted obviously worth a lot to them and re-sign on for them, otherwise he leaves for nothing.
 
Do you know what if they(Newcastle) were buying him from a foreign team they wouldn't think twice about paying that kind of money.Because it's a championship team they think they are doing them a favour taking him off them.If Blackburn managed to get promoted £15m would be a drop in the ocean compared to the money they would get.
 
Bad news for Blackburn when they inevitably don’t get promoted and their biggest asset leaves for free in the summer

Very much doubt they finish in top 6, with or without Diaz. They have been very fortunate in a lot of their games to amass the amount of points they currently have.

Fair play if they don't accept a low bid for him, but he will definitely be leaving in the summer for £0 if that's the case.

Terrible business by them cash in and upgrade the squad.
They're never getting top 2 and they're so unpredictable the other 3 in the play offs (if they get there) are gonna fancy their chances.
They aren't going up, their fans already are pretty against JDT. It's strange they're 3rd but nobody, not even their own fans rate them
