Braverman Breaks Ministerial Code

I await the statement from the comms team saying she had not reviewed the comms before it being produced. It was sent without her prior approval.

I may be wrong of course and she take ownership...

As a civil servant, yes we are a left wing blob. What do you expect after you cut our staff by a third and haven't given us a pay rise commensurate with inflation for a decade. We are all looking forward to this bunch of incompetent crooks being shifted on for the next bunch of incompetent crooks.
You raise a very good point.

There is no way that official communication gets sent out without prior instruction and/or approval.

They will hide behind the no approval excuse.

Ah the old left-wing blob attack, Mr Gove's old go to phrase when Ed Sec. Still the old crap and people believe it.

I despised Thatcher with every fibre of my body.
And i despise Braverman in nearly the same way, but she has a little way to go yet to reach the Thatcher level of unsympathetic heartlessness.
But she's not far off.

Arrogant, hypocritical, callous...I could go on.
I think she's coming a very close second. The woman is as thick as a wagon of wood and pure evil, she is already blaming someone else for it and lining up her scapegoat.

How many mistakes can these people get away with.

I am just listening to Cruella discussing the ECHR and she frightens me. Simon Clarke is saying he is all for it and would welcome us leaving it. If we did leave ECHR, what have the Tories got lined up for the average man?

Cruella managed to get in the scare mongering of how immigration is impacting the government funding hospitals and schools. Yeah, right.

In 2012 there were 420,000 civil servants. Now there are 500,000.

That doesn’t tell the whole story.
There was a huge dip, and numbers have only recently recovered….(wonder why they started going up a few years ago….Maybe more red tape for everything or summink 🤷🏻‍♂️)
In 2016, the number of civil servants employed was the lowest since WW2.
Johnson’s government were planning to cut about 90k jobs.
The additional workload thanks to good old Brexit has put paid to that.
