Bradley Dack in January?

They would only want to sell him if they think he's crocked, and even though his contract is up in June, to get him in Jan would mean we have to buy him. He would be free to talk to other English clubs in Jan though, with the view to a summer move on a Bosman. I think the player and Blackburn both have a 1-year option on the contract though. My bet is if he does ok until Jan, then Blackburn might activate that. If Dack thinks he's crocked, then he might activate it instead.

The medical teams are good nowadays but I've never heard of a player reaching their former levels after two ACL injuries which lasted a year, and certainly not at 29 years old, which he will be Jan 23.

Might be worth a punt if we got him for next to nothing, and on a PAYP deal, but Blackburn wouldn't let him go for free, if he's still got it. The player will want a 3-4 year deal, with guaranteed income, which someone will give him.

As much as he was a brilliant player, I think it's too much of a risk, for what it would take to get him. He barely gets minutes for Blackburn this season, and we're better than them. Albeit, they may be giving him less minutes so he doesn't get injured (to not risk a sale, or him getting crocked for next year).
