Hi,

I read the other day on here that tonight's boxing can be watched on DAZN for £1.99. I know that is nothing but is the link any good and can you get it on your TV?

I was thinking of watching the fight on catch up with my dad when he comes for lunch tomorrow.

It’s usually good quality - it’s not as slick as sky coverage but there is nothing wrong with the quality. You can download the DAZN app to your tv.

Sunday dinner, no such thing as Sunday lunch

Hearn reckons there'll be 70,000 in attendance tonight. Still selling tickets on the doors and still queues to get in.

Use mine through the PlayStation but it should work on a smart TVs just the same. For the price it’s well worth having.

Was Brillaint to watch. He was gonna get knocked out the next round or 2.. What happened to him being a fighting man, Gypsy Spirit, going out in his shield etc. Remember the man absolutely slated Dubois for it.

Maybe Canelo can give him some tips on how to beat up his wife. He’s a scumbag and I won’t shed a tear if that’s his career over.

Yup. Hopefully Daniel kinahan allows him to retire and he can stay away from the sport.

“Before I go on one knee I’d like to go out on my back with my pulse stopped. Everyone has their own thought process in the ring and what went on in the ring I don’t know. He obviously felt he could not continue. You look at the greats, the eyes, the face, we get through that. That’s the path in life we choose for a living. We punch people in the face and get punched in the face. If my two eye sockets were broken, my jaw was broken, my teeth were out, my nose was smashed, my brain was beaten, I was not stopping until I was knocked out or worse. I don’t agree with a man taking the knee and letting the ref count him out.”

- Billy Joe Saunders in 2020, when asked about heavyweight Daniel Dubois whi had took a knee and was stopped by Joe Joyce after suffering a broken orbital bone.

Tibbs pulled it as far as I could see, but it was after a conversation with BJS - when he said he was unable to see out of that eye? I don't think anyone with any sense in boxing would have had any qualms about doing the same, sending a one eyed fighter against the best in the world would be insane.

Edit: I watched a few reactions, Dom Ingle for instance said "Say what you want, at least he ain't blind" and more or less intimated that whilst the fans woulkd have liked to see him go back out, the danger was far too great.

I just think the comments made by BJS came back to haunt him.

Saunders did well but he lacked the experience where it mattered. He was beginning to get the better of the rounds and Canelo wasn't landing much. Some say Saunders was getting tired but he looked okay to me. I think the sense of danger for Saunders lessened somewhat and he got punished for it. He had to use his jab more and concentrate on countering at the right times and angles. The fight ended at the right time. It's a shame as Saunders looked capable of winning more rounds.
