Boxing Day

Only about 2k home tickets left with nearly 2 weeks to go.Allowing for the 2 bus loads Wigan will bring should be at least 30k there.
Would be great to see. My first match for a while too, can’t wait.

To coin a phrase I can’t wait to get back to the “proper football.”

The club have released four South Stand blocks for the Wigan game that can't be bought by Season Ticket. 2 of these blocks are usually available on match by match basis for most games and 2 more released on top of that because there are less than 500 expected from Wigan. I think they did the same against Chelsea last season.

Just checked and there are just over 420 tickets in the South Stand now, which means the Club are not releasing whole blocks at the same time, but part blocks. As said before I would not hang around if anyone wants a group of seats together, as the game will be close to capacity.

23.2k there Saturday, plus the usual extra 6k for Boxing day, makes 29.2k. Then there be be some new half season ticket holders, quite a few, based on 4 wins from last 5 league games.

And there will be season ticket holders who aren't there because there's no public transport. Same every Boxing Day.

Some of those higher attendances have helped due to the large away followings from Forest & Sheff Wed.

Wigan's travelling support is embarrassing so if we do hit 30k, then over 29k will be us 'Boro fans.

Yes, looks like they have now released the whole of block 54. I think normally it's just half for big games.
Block 55 still only half released, but presume it will come if demand requires.
MFC are very cautious.

I was sure we'd had a really good one shortly after Mogga came? I guess that would have been 2010/2011 though?
