Boxing Day

And according to wiki, our average that season was 17K, so the 22k at home to Blackburn actually looks like it was a 'good one' under those circumstances.

I do seems to remember under Mowbray our attendances were ridiculously low. Even when they used to announce the attendance, I always felt it wasn't right and they must've included season ticket holders that didn't attend.

Especially midweek games.

There was no new investment going into the team in 2011 and 2012 - Monk and Strachan had spent it mostly unwisely.

Hence why it was such a shock we got a big attendance on Boxing Day under Mogga, but it was the season we started really well and almost ended up in the play-offs after being in the top 2 at Christmas.

Mogga did a good job @ Boro - I know over 90% on here wanted him sacked, but I tend to look at more than 30 or so games.

Whilst I don't disagree (and I think generally I am more 'forgiving' of managers than a lot of our fans), I also think that if he wasn't the club legend he was, no one would really give him that sort of credit. TBF he probably wouldn't have lasted as long in the job either.
