Bournemouth

I think it's good teams the size of Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton can compete in the PL

Bournemouth haven't achieved it through grit and a can do attitude.
They have a very wealthy Russian owner.

Burnley have done so well though.

our owner isnt in the same league as abramovich. he's been looking to sell to a "friendly" buyer for ages, mainly to get more money in. all of our money has been spunked on wages, hardly any on infrastructure. the stadium is quite smart now, but we dont own it. building has just started on a very nice training facility, but will almost certainly be cancelled now. next season will be with a blend of old timers, and youth I suspect.

we've been terrible all season. doomed!
I’ve been surprised at your demise this season but it was some achievement to get in the premier and stay there for a few seasons. For all except the big city clubs I think it’s hard to attract and keep the calibre of players required to thrive in the premier league. I like the way Bournemouth are set up with a relatively small but modern and tidy stadium in contrast to say, Burnley, who always appear down at heal because of the state of Turf Moor.

Never liked going to Dean Court or whatever it’s called now. Smartened up yes but it still holds less than 12000. Turf Moor yes shabby but I have Soft spot for old grounds like that. Kept a bit of character even though the away end needs major repair. You are spot on with the difficulty of attracting players to compete. That has to do with money as much as the area And what money you do get is frittered away in over priced average talent. Paying £19m for Solanke, £16m for Danjuma, £15m for Peter Billing! £12m for the Bristol City left back. Some terrible buys there that haven’t been good enough

I know people complain rightly about our recruitment record over the years but the grass isnt always greener at other clubs.

Been some shocking signings there.

How the hell did they honestly think Solanke was worth £19m?

Some of the sales Liverpool have made these last few seasons have been nothing short of remarkable.

Add Jordan Ibe to that list too.

Solanke - 29 games 0 goals!

My mate is from Bournemouth so we go to St James every season to watch them play.
Used to be a very fluid good team to watch.
Looks as though a lot of the better players have had their heads turned,Ake, Wilson,King,Fraser have all high profile suitors and will be off whatever the outcome .
They are £100 million in debt also. I can't see how they can survive still have to play Man City,Manchester Utd, Leicester,Everton and Spurs
