On the 24th March at home to Birmingham City Bosco, signed from Zeljeznicar feb 1979 was given the No12 shirt by manager John Neal, the game finished 2-2 with goals from Billy Ashcroft & Micky Burns, Bosco who went on to play 62 games between 1979 & 1981 scoring 18 goals replaced Micky Burns in the 2nd half

Bosco will be favourably remembered by Villa fans for helping them win the 1st divison title in 1981, he was rumoured to be among Villas player of the year votes

He was so good we sang a song after him (y):)
