Suggestions on how to improve atmosphere and matchday experience at the Riverside when we return next sesson.

Try playing some decent football. Can't imagine how the crowd would have taken to second half of last season. We have sort of shot ourselves in the foot really. Warnock has been calling for the fans to come back and fill the stadium but the performances since Christmas will have wiped the thought of getting a S.T from many part time fans minds. Gates will probably be just the same as before all this started.

To be fair, the atmosphere is typically directly proportional to the success of the team on the pitch.

That said, if the club really wants to know how they can improve the atmosphere and matchday experience, well in my mind there is only one answer. You simply cannot beat matchday when you have a full house or close to it. The only way to achieve that is to lower prices for all.

It's too expensive at the moment. They have to realise this at some point.

116 goals in 106 games at the Riverside (a few weeks ago). That's a damming stat as to how bad it's been for 5 years. I genuinely think it's the biggest issue.

We simply don't see goals and hardly entertained. That's not a 'fix' the club can do. 4 managers and the best part of 80mil+ hasn't worked.

The last 'exciting' thing we had was Traore.

I'm terms of matchday. I honestly don't think they can do much. It's not just a Riverside thing but throughout the football leagues. You can sit and watch a prem game on TV and the only people signing are away fans.

The atmosphere is directly proportional to the excitement generated by the football. If the 'club' don't realise that they're in the wrong business.

If it's noise they're looking for that's a different issue but the more fans in the ground the louder it will be, and I'm sure they know how to make that happen but their spending philosophy prohibits it.

Stop the stupid music in the run up to kick off - it kills all attempts by the crowd to generate proper atmosphere.

Get rid of all pre match entertainment - just let the crowd do its thing.

Take away the music and I would bet money that we'd just have a very quiet stadium before kick off.

I don't buy this argument that it's killing anything, the fans are often quiet during the match unless there's a bad decision or some excitement, so I have no faith that they would magically build an atmosphere before kick off whilst the players warm up to play Luton.

get some corner shops and decent pubs into middlehaven.

cut the crap

score some goals, better to get beat 5-0 once than 1-0 five times !!

stewards who dont behave like robo cop.

get the seats out of the east stand lower.

treat us as fans and not customers.

There seems to be a lot of talk about prices - maybe they can offer some sort of discount to NHS staff who have worked wonders during the pandemic.

A team the fans have a connection with, which last happened under Karanka. Success and crowd followed.
Rioch (local), Robson (stars) and McLaren (good teams) did this, each in different ways.

The crowd can pick out the wasters, the no goods and the don't really cares, no matter how much they cost.
