Boro v Sunderland

The next set of games are meant to be announced by this Friday (29th), and will cover Sunderland (H), Blackpool (A), Cardiff (H), Rotherham (H).

Lots of localish games went under the radar last season so I'm not sure about this one, it's big for us but is anyone else interested including the Maks.

WBA v Burnley is the same weekend and I think that's nailed on for TV. That'll probably get moved to Friday night and we'll be the early game on the Sunday to keep Cleveland Police happy.

There's absolutely no doubt about it.. Boro vs Sunderland will be moved for a) TV and b) policing.

12:30pm on the Saturday or 12:00pm on the Sunday would be my guess.

Think it will be the 12.30 saturday slot, cleveland police don't like sunday fixtures, can't get the rank & file to do overtime on sundays
And also it is Middlesbrough 10k Sunday at 9am. And while everyone should have finished by lunchtime there will be a lot to do in terms of clearing and cleaning the route which does go near the Riverside.

Saturday has the Merseyside derby as an early kick-off on BT Sports. If Sky televise our game at the same time, there'll probably be more viewers in the Riverside than sat in front of the TV.

24 pages of them saying how they don't care about us.

Its obviously very important in sundetland to make sure everyone knows they don't care about our fuxture.
They're a strange breed.

I can imagine some of their fans putting their hand over the mouth of any Sunderland fan chanting "We hate Boro" when we play them.

"Ssshhh, we don't care, remember?".
