Boro v Birmingham City [St Andrews] - Official Match Thread: Latest news / Team / Predictions / Table /...........

Agree with Maddo Saville was top class. He's been great this season barring 2 or 3 games when he dropped off a little.
Proper centre forward performance from Britt. Worked the line held the ball up brilliant finish. Wingy didn't let the side down cracking strike for number 4. McNair and fry dealt with everything, and djiksteel got the winger in his pocket after an iffy start.
Don't know if it's good or bad we might have boxing day off, they probably could do with a rest but they're on a roll at the moment. 8 goals in three games since reading, one against. We don't look like a team struggling to break the opposition down anymore.

Phew, but I just wish we would do something the easy way just for once 😜

On the ‘Team’ thread I posted as follows:

“Wing is the weak link for me. I would have preferred Roberts in to Wing, but Wing does need to get some game time and get to grips with things. He does need to start to push on, lets hope he has a good game and recovers his Mojo.”

Thank me later. 👍

On a seperate note, if you want to know my lottery numbers for tonight, it might increase your chances btw (by avoiding them) 😂

Brum fans have a melt-down:

Karanka loves playing Roberts for his height, but we’re losing defensive organisation and solidify as a result. It isn’t worth it #bcfc

Whilst he hasn’t made any clear cut errors, it’s clear to see our defence is considerably weaker with Roberts instead of Friend at CB #bcfc

I’ve said it for a while, the whole back 4 needs tearing up and starting again. Colin, Dean, Roberts and Pedersen are not to the standard you need even to be midtable. I’m afraid Clayton/San Jose are way off. Feel sorry for Karanka #BCFC #KRO

Funny enough, Marc Roberts again.

Sack Marc Roberts

I know he scored a good goal midweek, but it’s been evident for so long now that Marc Roberts is just nowhere near good enough to play for this Club. #bcfc

I’d be absolutely fuming seeing Marc Roberts playing every week if I was Clarke-Salter. Roberts really hasn’t been it this season.

Would agree with Clayton. But Marc Roberts is not a championship defender

Karanka on #Boro: “Someone who surprised me a lot today has been Britt. Britt has been amazing and one player who I'm really pleased for is Dael Fry because I gave him his first game at 17 and I am really proud of him.”
