I know this has been done to death on here but can we try and clarify what exactly is going on with the club shop. There's hardly any stock of anything at all now, even the retro kits only had a very limited supply when I was last in there.

The quality of the kits - absolutely abysmal.

I bought one for my lad and it was full of clicks on the first wear, this didn't happen last season. While the quality last season was not good, it was better than this season's which is thinner, cheaper and just isn't lasting.

I refused to buy one for myself this season for the first time, when I was at Bradford people in my group who had bought the shirts all spoke of their disappointment of the quality - clicks, stitching fraying in several areas, stuck on badge coming off the shirt.

I went into the club shop looking to spend about £150 and came out with nothing due to the awful quality of the merchandise. Social media and other fans tell me I'm not alone.

What is going to be done next season to ensure the shirt quality is improved? Boro fans pay a premium price it isn't much to expect a decent quality product.

There was too much loss of money from having surplus stock is one of the arguments. They deliberately cut down reorders on some of the gear and make more profits/less losses.

Just bought some of the training gear for my son and that was reasonably priced and decent quality. Miles better than the actual shirts. Arrived within a week too. This is one positive for the clubshop.

However the kits are horrific quality and a total rip off.
