We don’t know what the support arrangements have been made or how he will take to them. We are still in a pandemic and I have no idea whether any of his family are allowed into the country or indeed even if they are whether they could come over as they have their own lives. Argentina is a red list country i thought anyway, so would have a longer quarantine stay.

Can he speak English to any level? I don’t know. If he can great that will be a plus if not he will need an interpreter, so signing another player who can speak both would be great. Maybe we have a player or coach that can already, but I don’t know. I want to see him play in our shirt as much as anyone, but he is a human being and I will be shocked if he is in Sundays squad just my opinion. A week to settle in to his surroundings and training is hardly an issue is it?

None of us know that, but I’ll trust Warnock to manage it. I don’t see any point in being negative about any of it though.

Negative, do me a favour 😂

Making sure he settles in, has a weeks training, watches the first game in what will be a really tough battle, putting him on the bench and giving him some 2nd half minutes at B’pool and a full debut to a home Riverside crowd is not being negative at all, I see it as a positive rather than throwing him in at the deep end 2 days after self isolating finishes

I read an article from his Dad that paraphrased said "I told him when he was a kid to study (his English) and he said 'Why do I need that, I won't need it', so now we are here and the stupid sod will have to deal with learning it"......heavily paraphrased but that is basically his Dad's words a couple of weeks ago. So he'll be studying now I guess.
