Did anyone think that he was the best player in the league after the first couple of games of the season? He never performed consistently for us. Honestly, I think he only performed this season out of a desire to prove Warnock wrong. Now that he's done that, I think he might go back to his old ways.
 
Lets see whats out there in the "market" - then up it.
If a consensus forms around £15m [for example] - with Arsenal / Spuds / Bayern / Utd, et al - call it £20M and let them fight it out.
His agent will push it - and to the "big" boys £20M is loose change.
Get this player out of the Boro and we can focus on building for promotion next season.(y)

He has 2 years left.

We'll get at least £15m, I reckon.
He's in demand, and Forest will be able to offer that by themselves.

Wilder has already said he’ll be gone. Said it pretty much straight after the Preston game.
 
Jamie O'Hara on talksport today when asked about possible new signings for Spurs, mentioned Perisic first and then said he would absolutely love Djed Spence and went on to rave about him a bit... Absolutely mental how a players name and reputation can be so much greater than actual footballing ability.

Is that a genuine comment? He wasn’t even the best player at Forest let alone the league. In terms of not bringing him back in Jan.
1. He didn’t want to come back.
2. Up to that point Jones had been significantly better than him and more productive.
