Boro Shop Question Thread Explained

As an aside to the point raised about the shop working with local designers. Recently I was chatting with a local award winning clothes designer for women's and girls clothes - she told me since lockdown the world has turned upside down. Teenagers are heavily influenced from TikTok and just go for Chinese made gear. Even wedding dresses are bought on the latest fad and then sold again immediately.

What sort of numbers do they base their stock package on? IE How many do they order vs sell and what is the break down over the sizes.

Can this be changed or is is a set amount of kits in a set amount of sizes? (eg if you order 10 kits they come in 2 small, 2 medium, 3 large, 2 xl, 1 xxl)

Disappointed to see a couple of people choosing not to follow the instructions not to post more than one question and to be respectful in the Q and A thread.

Sorry. My last post on there I just responded without realising which thread I was on.

Would it not be worthwhile though allowing multiple questions and letting people vote on which questions people would like answers to because a good question is a good question?

I went to purchase a Goalkeeper Home Jersey online before Christmas - out of stock in XL

Walked into the Club Shop in January, there was loads of them for sale in XL

Lost a sale there

I also purchased this seasons Home Jersey from China for £14 delivered to the UK (because Club Shop out of Stock apparently)

It's exactly the same as shirt - so why should I pay £52 ?

Can we have shirts without the sponsor?

We all know they print the sponsors on themselves - as they come to the club without the sponsor as the kits are made at least 12 months in advance

I take your point - I reckon there are already likely to be more questions than I can ask and get answered. I just wanted as many people as possible to have an opportunity and I think that has happened.
I will get through as many as I can.

Someone ask about selling shirts minus sponsors... hint ... hint... hint.
Rob, i've been asking about it for a couple of years. Mentioned it to you on here pre season ( i think you were going to a meeting not long after with the club and I think it was going to be mentioned then) I've also asked the question on the clubs various social media and not had a response ever.

I think one of the most common/critic ones is to allow the club shop to explain why for the past few season they have run out of stock really early in the season with restock being so ad-hoc. Must have lost thousands in sales.

Yep I have asked it a couple of times. So, am pleased this has been raised again.
