I honestly think he would be
I don’t get it either.
What's to not get?
Would you be happy if we beat Sheff Utd but Giles and Jones pick up injuries? Would you be happy if we don't have a win by September but the players are all fit as lops?

Or ex puntersIf they know theyre puttng the reserves out then they should only charge a reserve team ticket price.
Its taking the fans for granted. Not to mention just how fuc.king insulting it is.
We are just punters to Wilder.
The lengths people are going to, imagining scenarios in which our lads are injured in cup games. What if Bola had got injured tonight? Or Forss? Why play anyone with a senior appearance to their name? What if four or five of them picked up an injury? Why risk any of them at all? Why don’t we revoke our licence and just not play football matches, just in case we happen to pick up an injury at some point. What's to not get?

If be delighted as that a league win snd that is all that counts at this club anc if you think otherwise then your in for a shock.Would you be happy if we beat Sheff Utd but Giles and Jones pick up injuries?

Wilder is here to get promotion not compete in cups we don’t win
We couldn't have risked the potential injuries though.Would have faced Leeds away in the next round.
Wilder is here to win games of football. Karanka was the same. He was hired to win. He gave us two outstanding cup performances to remember. They’re both up there with the Brighton match in terms of his legacy and how we remember him. Not the dreary 1-0 wins over QPR or Peterborough or Ipswich. When he stopped winning games, he was sacked. If be delighted as that a league win snd that is all that counts at this club anc if you think otherwise then your in for a shock.

We did in the early rounds or did you miss those. And I was one of yhe 3 thousand odd here to see it.Wish we'd rested Southgate, Ehiogu, Boateng, Zenden, Schwarzer, etc back in Feb 2004. We might have won this all important league match away to Birmingham: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/3495494.stm
Middlesbrough: Schwarzer, Queudrue, Mills, Southgate, Cooper, Downing, Boateng, Doriva, Greening, Nemeth, Ricketts. Subs: Nash, Stockdale, Riggott, Juninho Paulista, Christie. We did in the early rounds or did you miss those. And I was one of yhe 3 thousand odd here to see it.
Awful team selection, should have played some more senior players to get some rhythm in the team.
2 tough games coming up now, if we go without a win in the opening 5 games of the season people will start asking questions.
I don’t care what other teams did, I care what team our manager picks. You could see the moment the team sheets landed there were no goals in that team.Barnsley made 5 or 6 changes from the team that played on Saturday. Their fans were moaning before kick off about the selection.
It was a chance to give the fringe players a game. Just about every team in the competition does it.
Didn’t work tonight but easily could have. I honestly can’t believe people are getting worked up about it.
I think and hope he was just keeping Akpom and Forss relatively fresh. If they both don’t start on Sunday I would be very shocked. Not too disappointed that we're out of the cup but of course the worry is what this may now do to team morale - although in fairness many players who start on Sunday won't have played last night.
My biggest frustration is the fact that it was a missed opportunity to give Akpom and Forss decent run-outs.
Not sure why Watmore has suddenly become Wilders' main man to start with up front, considering he struggled for starts last season. The irony is we were calling for him to start more games last season, but now that many of us have accepted he should be used as an option coming off the bench, suddenly Wilder wants to keep starting him.
I dont know why you follow the Boro - you`ve never got a positive comment to make about anyone. Try looking at the "big picture" for a change.Get a grip It was a $hit result against low opposition Just shows how $hite we are.
