Considered it but couldn't keep quiet plus couldn't politely stand up in Sunlun score.

Mentioned the idea to the wife and her view was I was rather silly thinking about it. She managed to say it in a not so pleasant manner.

I’ve been escorted out at full time by stewards from the corporate section at Old Trafford on 3 occasions 🤦🏻‍♂️ only my fault once which was the cup game on penalties.

The same bloke (United fan) keeps inviting me as well.

I stood in the Fulwell twice. The first time was with two makems I knew. A lad stood next to was talking about how much he hated Boro (how times change) and looking at me for confirmation I told him that I was on leave from the Army and didn't really follow football. When we scored the other two turned around to look at me, I smiled wryly.
The second time was with a girlfriend whose family were from sunderland way, (as were mine- I'm the black sheep). We just stood quietly to one side. I seem to remember we got smashed, so there wasn't a great deal to shout about.

I'm there tomorrow in the Gods (£35 for the privledge) not far from the Boro fans actually so it will be interesting to be on the 'we hate borra' side of the segregation. I'll get plenty of mobile phone footage to prove they don't like us haha

I know I can keep stum and politely clap I've done it before at Leeds, Hull and previously at the SOL

Never been in the home end at any stadium before but have been considering doing it tomorrow, I cant lie. Really fancied going to this one but my Dad wasn't up for it so decided not to even bother trying to get tickets.

Been chatting about it to a mate the last few days and he fancies going himself. It's really got me in the mood for it but not sure there will be a way around it. We're tempted to get the train down and just see if we could somehow buy tickets at the ticket office. Worst case scenario we can watch the game in a pub somewhere and soak up the atmosphere.

Sat in the Sunderland end when Barry Robson scored a great volley in the goal I was sat behind. Couldn't help jumping out the seat but luckily got no abuse. Joined the SAFC membership and even bought a student ticket for a quid for the ladies Sunderland V Durham last week so I had a purchase history but still wouldn't let me buy a ticket for tomorrow. 😡

Know several, either got tickets through hospitality or got their mates working up there to get them.

Thankfully I’m in the Boro end, don’t think I could pretend to celebrate with that lot if they scored.

Been in the Fulwell End at least 3 times watching Boro with my makem mates.... no bother at all but i kept quiet .... worse home end i was in was Wolves ( the Gittens match) got a freebie with BASF paints as I ran a spray section in a japanese company in the NE ... scary as we were on our own . went with a fellow Boro fan who I blagged a ticket for. When the Boro scored we both jumped up and the reaction was hostile. just sat there and looked amused... was sure there was going to be bother when the whistle went but we both sat there till the stand vacated. It was in the seats opposite the bomb scare stand

I've been in a few home ends, the thing that gives you away is not immediately jumping up and celebrating when the home team scores. I find it easier to keep quiet and stay still when boro score than I do to pretend to celebrate a home team goal.

You can usually get away with saying you're a neutral but the accent is a bit of a give away.

Never been to a s'land or n'stle game in the home end though.

Wolves fans are strange. They just seem so miserable even after a win.

Was in the North Bank at Highbury for first Premier game v Arsenal. When Barmby scored, I automatically leapt up, quickly realised and sat back down. A few seconds later got a tap on my back. Gingerly turned round to see a woman, who smilingly said, 'Glad I am not the only one".

Great Billy Connolly joke - A Celtic fans accidently finds himself in the Rangers end. The Rangers fans find out and one of them asked him to get him a bovril. Before he goes he is told to leave one of his shoes behind in case he doesn't come back.

The Celtic fan obliges. When he comes back they have s...t in one of his shoes. Put it on!! shouted the Rangers fan. So he did. Later in the match another fan tells him to go and get him a bovril, and as before to leave his other shoe behind.

He does and when he returns he sees the other shoe has also got s..t in it. He is ordered to put the shoe on as before. At the end of the match he walks out of the stadium stinking and seeing s..t seep from both shoes. A TV reporter stops him and asks if he would like to make a comment about football hooliganism. Yes, I certainly would he says!

'Football hooliganisn in this country will never stop as long as they are S....ING in our shoes and we are P...ING in their bovril!!!! UTB.
