Boro Fans Forum Tonight

Service on a matchday time and time again is appalling.

I know there are staffing issues due to Covid, but can the club not look at other ways to make the service faster that require the same amount of staff?

Use the one end of the concourse bars or the Heineken bar as a contactless point where you go up to it, tap, get handed a cold plastic bottle and once you've finished have recycling points for them around the concourse.

Those machines that can pour 4/6 pints at a time, they've been discussed previously that would speed things up.

I got into the North Stand concourse at 2:10pm and wasn't served until 2:40pm, it really isn't good enough and it's a consistent theme that puts me off going to the ground earlier or even attempting to get any food or drink at half time.
They had the fast fill pint glasses on trial a few seasons ago when I asked why it wasn’t used anymore I was told it was on trial and the club wouldn’t pay the cost to buy them permanently. The price I was told was a fraction of most players weekly wage.

There is a new person overseeing the entire operation in Helena Bowman - she was head of the MFC Foundation for many years. She is looking at everything going on in the stadium at present. If things normalise to an extent with COVID that will surely mean the club can be more flexibile in the concourses. It is however such a pity that so many choose not to wear face masks in these indoor areas despite being requested to do so.

Wow. I had forgotten. How much did Chelsea charge us that year. I remember Boro fans suggesting we should boycott. Was it not £50?
I think the FA need to look at away pricing in the same way as the Premier League with a price cap.
By the way I can confirm that Boro were given the same choice as Aston Villa. Somewhere around £30 for 3000+. £45/46 for 9000+.
do the boro not receive 1/3rd of the gate in the FA cup? so our club benefits

Boro have also taken a substantial risk. They could have played it safe like Aston Villa and taken 3000 at £30.
And banked our share of tv revenues and gate monies.
