I think there's too much to do and I don't think Eddie Howe is the man for the job. The fact that he even got the job shows that they're in bother! I don't think he'll see the season out.

Maybe the cunning plan is to get relegated and then spend hundreds of millions in the championship? That way they would avoid all those fees counting towards the PL FFP calculations?

The deckchairs look the least likely to be in this league next year.

I'd like to see one of the North-East clubs back in the Championship next season. We've had no 'big games' so to speak this season, especially without Leeds as well. Only time we're probably going to get a crowd close to 30k will be Boxing day.

Hope it's Newcastle rather than Sunderland however, so that they have to stay in League One

They can do what they like as long as they get promoted. It's based on 3 years profit and loss.

It's why other clubs fall foul of it; they gamble and don't make it.

Could easily see the Geordies spend big and come back up with a bit of momentum.

It's the other end they need to sort out. They need a complete defence and a decent midfield player.
