Boro Announce Season Card Prices 20/21

A great composite image that, of Woodgate's youngsters, the passionate fans and the Riverside technical drawings.

Sorry for the sarcasm but its just the same old whinges from people every year. The deadline is usually around early-April. I get that everybody thinks the club shouldn't be immune from criticism but I mean surely you can see how 'putting people on the spot' is an intentional move designed to force them into committing early?
I do but I think it'll back fire on them. Someone who is border line about renewing is less likely to renew if we're staring down the barrel of League 1 than if the club waited a few weeks. Of course I understand/accept that the club want to get people on board early but it could quite easily have a dead line of the 23rd of April

Is the early bird deadline earlier than it has been before?

But in that scenario you are just as likely (if not more so) to get drops off too, if we did go down. Some people will be incentivised by the saving on offer to take the plunge early and hope we're staying up.

I actually think the early bird deadline was around the same time last year and we didn't know the division we'd be in for sure then either.

Great that the club are going to offer 18-21 prices across the stadium.

The timing is a difficult one cos on one hand they could put forward the date they go on sale, but even if they knocked the price down to say £370, it's likely fans wont be interested if we're going to be in League One.

Equally some aren't going to want to commit to paying £420 to potentially watch League One football.

I'm pretty sure I will renew though.

For 18-21 in half the stadium - £9.83 per match if someone attends every home game. In 1992/3 it cost £8 per game to stand on the Holgate and inflation must have doubled. To me that is a bargain, even if you miss three games its only £11.30.
